常开成为江苏乃至全国的明星公司。它是常熟最具实力的企业之一,效益仅次于常熟电厂,员工收入名列前茅,在当地年青人中,进入开关厂工作是一件令人羡慕的事情。按说,带领常开取得成功的唐春潮应该得到鲜花与掌声,至少不应该成为清算和打倒的对象。然而,一系列改制背景下企业利益链的调整最终引发了一场深刻的危机。原本受人尊敬的企业家被涂抹成万众侧目的坏蛋,造福一方的明星企业也差一点被击垮。创造财富绝对是一件好事情;可是面对人心,财富却变成了麻烦。作为旁观者,“常开改制”给我们提供了一个机会,我们由此得以深入观察中国产权制度改革的一次微观实践。
