以噻吩甲醛、对氨基苯甲酸、溴丙烷、对羟基苯甲酸为原料,经过醚化反应、希夫碱反应、DCC/DMAP酯化反应合成了噻吩衍生物液晶。化合物的结构由红外光谱、核磁共振氢谱进行了表征,噻吩衍生物的液晶性能用偏光显微镜进行了研究。结果表明:以噻吩为末端的化合物在升温和降温过程中均表现出很好的向列相液晶性能;特别是在降温过程中表现出较低的结晶点和更宽的液晶相温度范围。
Thiophene-formaldehyde, p-aminobenzoic acid, bromopropane and p-hydroxybenzoic acid were used as starting materials to synthesize thiophene derivatives liquid crystal through etherification, Schiff base reaction and esterification with DCC / DMAP. The structure of the compounds was characterized by IR and 1H NMR. The liquid crystal properties of the thiophene derivatives were studied by polarized light microscope. The results showed that the thiophene-terminated compounds exhibited good nematic liquid crystal properties both during heating and cooling, especially during the cooling process, showing lower crystallization points and broader liquid crystal phase temperature range.
