It is said that integrated primary health care is difficult to achieve in most developing countries. Therefore, some people advocated selective methods involving only a few diseases. However, the results of selective interventions actually do not achieve the intended purpose. Health care for all was an ambitious goal in 2000. The question was whether this could be achieved through comprehensive primary health care involving the entire population. Some of the arguments also advocated selective primary health care – selective for public health. Serious problems are intervened policies, not what they think are costly, requiring training of a large number of people and eight broad areas of integrated primary health care.
