With the rapid development of China’s economy, the international reputation and political status are gradually increasing, and the cultural soft power is even more important. While raising the level of education for all and vigorously developing the cause of science and culture, we have drawn our attention to the ancient Chinese cultural traditions and rich cultural heritage, especially the preservation and protection of intangible cultural heritage. Oral non-physical heritage is internationally recognized as a key element of cultural identity, promotion of creativity and cultural diversity. It plays a major role in the development of foreign countries and at the international level and in the inclusiveness and harmony of different cultures. This article tries to discuss the way out for the existing intangible cultural heritage in China based on the comparison between the protection and inheritance status of folk minor opera [1] and opera [2].
