The drums of the Shang Dynasty are rare. Anyang Houjiazhuang Yin Ruins No. 1217 tombs unearthed wooden drum. This is the only example now. However, due to the deep underground years, very poor preservation, the original long ago no longer exists. It should be said that wooden drum-type musical instruments must have been the most commonly used in the Shang and Xia Dynasties, but they must be kept underground for thousands of years in the underground areas of northern China, and they are just found by archaeologists. This opportunity It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, the Shang Dynasty appeared with bronze imitation wood drums, realistic modeling, exquisite decoration, a high level of technology. Two of them were preserved today. These two important specimens, one for the double-bird taotai pattern bronze drum, have fled to Japan; a piece of Hubei provincial museum, the famous Chongyang bronze drum. Two artifacts are late Shang Dynasty relics, very precious.
