相比于男性书家,女性书家在当代书坛仍然是一个相对弱势的群体。据统计,在中国书协会员中,女书家仅占百分之五左右。但随着妇女地位及文化修养的提高,妇女书法创作也呈现出日益繁荣的局面。中国书协一九八六年即开始设立“全国妇女书法展”专项展,至今已连续举办五届。经过近三十年的发展,妇女书法总体呈现出继承传统、风格多样、流派纷呈、紧贴时代的特征。 Compared to male book writers, female calligraphers are still a relatively weak group in the contemporary book market. According to statistics, female book writers account for only about 5% of Chinese book club members. However, with the improvement of women’s status and cultural accomplishment, women’s calligraphy creation has also shown an increasingly prosperous situation. The Chinese Calligrapher began to set up a special exhibition entitled “National Calligraphy Exhibition for Women” in 1986 and has held five consecutive sessions so far. After nearly three decades of development, women’s calligraphies generally show the characteristics of inheriting traditions, diversified styles, colorful schools and close to the times.
