本刊报道:1993年2月6日—9日在广州召开了广深准高速铁路建设和科研攻关工作会议。铁道部有关领导,科研、生产及工程建设单位的有关人员出席了会议。广深准高速铁路建设工程,按计划完成了92年度任务。至1992年底,完成工程投资2.9465亿元,完成的主要工作量占总量的比例为:土石方51％、打袋装沙井100％、两座特大桥42％、大中小桥29％、涵洞63％、立交桥涵51.5％、房屋拆迁26％、站前征地85％。目前,正线铺轨0.4km,既有正线抬道35km。
