词汇是语言的三要素(语音、词汇、语法)之一,是一切语言活动的基础。如何让学生掌握一定数量的词汇,是小学英语教学的重要任务之一。小学生在认识客观事物的过程中,以形象思维为主,抽象思维能力还不够成熟。因此,教师在进行词汇教学时,应尽量调动学生的多种感官和已有的经验、知识,运用多种教学手段,使学生加深对所学词汇的理解和记忆。
Vocabulary is one of the three elements of language (speech, vocabulary, grammar) and is the foundation of all language activities. How to make students master a certain number of vocabulary is one of the important tasks of English teaching in primary school. Primary students in the process of understanding objective things, the main image of thinking, abstract thinking ability is not yet mature enough. Therefore, teachers should try their best to mobilize the students’ multiple senses, experience and knowledge as well as employ various teaching methods to help students deepen their understanding and memory of the vocabulary they learn.
