Objective: To explore the structure of the psychological safety of the new generation of migrant workers and to prepare a questionnaire. Methods: Through interviews, open questionnaires and literature search, the initial questionnaire was formed. Based on the predictions, self-compiled questionnaires were used to test the subjects and 1218 valid questionnaires were obtained. Using general self-efficacy scale for validity test. 53 new generation of migrant workers were selected for retesting at intervals of 2 weeks. Results: The psychosocial security of the new generation of migrant workers was explained by the following four factors: grasping the future, satisfying the present, belonging to the identity and perceiving the support, explaining a total of 69.966% of the total variance. The 4-factor model was verified in the confirmatory factor analysis. The score of the questionnaire and the score of 4 factors were significantly and positively correlated with the total score of the general self-efficacy scale (0.280 ~ 0.369). The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the total questionnaire was 0.924, and the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the four factors was 0.810-0.870. The sub-half reliability of the total questionnaire was 0.872, and the sub-half reliability of the four factors was 0.814-0.868. The test-retest reliability of the total questionnaire was 0.869, and the test-retest reliability of the four factors was 0.692 ~ 0.740. Conclusion: The psychological safety of the new generation of migrant workers is composed of four factors. The reliability and validity meet the requirements of psychometrics and can be used in related research and practice.
