母亲酷爱各种花卉,她说花卉是大自然赐给人类的一件神奇礼物,花朵让世界充满芳香和美丽。如果没有了花朵,这世界该是多么苍白和单调！母亲爱赏花更爱养花,退休后,一天的大部分时间都是在她的小花园中度过的。所谓的花园就是房前的一小块空地,四周用红砖砌成高高的院墙,里面种植了近百种花卉,光菊花就有十几个品种,还有各种的芦荟、兰花、海棠花等等。春天,母亲的花园是最热闹的,蝴蝶、蜻蜒、蜜蜂在花丛中翩翩飞舞,各色的花儿竞相开放,娇艳多姿。
Her mother is fond of all kinds of flowers. She said that flowers are a wonderful gift from nature to mankind. Flowers make the world full of aroma and beauty. If there is no flower, this world is how pale and monotonous! Her mother loves to spend more on flower-planting and after retirement spends most of her day in her little garden. The so-called garden is a small piece of open space in front of the house, surrounded by red brick walls, which planted nearly a hundred kinds of flowers, there are a dozen varieties of light chrysanthemums, there are a variety of aloe, orchids, Begonia flowers and so on. Spring, the mother’s garden is the most lively, butterflies, dragonflies, bees flying in the flowers, colored flowers competing open, beautiful and colorful.
