ECC(Error Checking and Correction),是一种用于NAND的差错检测和修正算法。ECC校验由传统奇偶检验发展,它主要利用了数据块在行与列的奇偶校验信息产生ECC码,从而检出其是否失真,它具有数据块自动一位纠错的能力。它克服了传统奇偶校验只能检错,不能纠错的局限性。ECC校验由于实现简单,占用系统资源少,软硬件均能实现,在计算机系统中数据的存储和传输中是一种强有力的差错检测手段。
ECC (Error Checking and Correction), is an error detection and correction algorithm for NAND. ECC parity check by the traditional development of the test, which mainly uses the data block parity check row and column information to produce ECC code, in order to detect whether it is distorted, it has the data block an error correction. It overcomes the limitations of the traditional parity can only check the error, can not be corrected. Because ECC is simple to implement and occupies less system resources, both hardware and software can implement ECC checking, which is a powerful error detection method in the storage and transmission of data in computer systems.
