Objective To investigate the expression of oncogene cmyc and p53 in colorectal adenoma and colorectal cancer, and their relationship with clinicopathological features. Methods Immunohistochemical ABC method was used to detect the expression of cmyc in 39 cases of colorectal cancer and 37 cases of colorectal adenoma, and the expression of p53 in 63 cases of colorectal cancer and 40 cases of colorectal adenoma. Results The expression of cmyc in 37 cases of colorectal adenoma was 622%(23/37). The positive expression of cmyc in colorectal carcinoma was 821%(32/39) in 39 cases. The positive expression of p53 in colorectal adenoma and colorectal cancer was 45.0% (18/40) and 84.1% (53/63). The expression of cmyc and p53 in colorectal adenoma and colorectal cancer were statistically significant (P<001). However, the expression of the two oncogenes was not related to the clinicopathological features. Conclusion The abnormal expression of cmyc and p53 has increased during the evolution of colorectal cancer, and the two work together.
