我认识焦应奇有两年了,这期间他一直鼓捣着要搞美术教育。他有一个偌大的艺术家仓库,原来在东四八条,现在在十里铺。在北京的艺术圈子里挺活跃,从孟京辉的《恋爱的犀牛》、国际舞蹈大师洪信子的舞蹈作品,到世界著名策划人的聚会等等,搞了一些有意思的活动,但是他的最大的梦想是要搞民办美术教育。虽然这条道不那么容易,但他有点铁杵磨成针的执着,这件事就眼看着越来越清晰了,朋友们都很佩服老焦单枪匹马、游说列国的精神。一谈起当今的美术教育、稳重理性的者焦就变得尖锐起来,毕竟他在中央美院待过11年,11年中对美术教育的现状有了太多感慨。也许正是太多的感受促使了他办学的决心。
