采用真空热压方法原位合成了纯Ti5Si3和Cu改性Ti5Si3金属间化合物,利用X射线衍射和扫描电镜方法研究了金属间化合物的相组成和微观结构。测试了材料的抗弯强度和断裂韧度,分析和探讨了材料的强韧化机理。结果显示,Ti5Si3金属间化合物的抗弯强度和断裂韧度随Cu掺量的增加而显著增加,分析表明延性合金Cu Ti的生成、晶粒细化是Ti5Si3金属间化合物强韧化的主要原因。
The pure Ti5Si3 and Cu modified Ti5Si3 intermetallic compounds were synthesized in situ by vacuum hot pressing. The phase composition and microstructure of intermetallic compounds were investigated by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The flexural strength and fracture toughness of the material were tested, and the toughening mechanism of the material was analyzed and discussed. The results show that the flexural strength and fracture toughness of Ti5Si3 intermetallic compound increase with the increase of Cu content. The analysis shows that the formation of Cu Ti and the grain refinement are the main reasons for the strengthening and toughening of Ti5Si3 intermetallic compounds.
