截止2002年底,我国引进的各种规格的铝带冷轧机30台,其中二手的8台,它们的总生产能力806 kt/a。有4台达到当时国际先进水平的冷轧机:西南铝业(集团)有限责任公司的Φ450/1270 mm×1850 mm德马克轧机及Φ440/1250 mm×1850 mm CVC-4西马克轧机;渤海铝业有限公司的Φ510/1350 mm×2300 mm戴维轧机;瑞闽铝板带有限公司1850mmCVC-6西马克轧机,后者是亚洲铝工业唯一的一台这类轧机;这4台轧机的设计生产能力316kt/a,占引进冷轧机总生产能力的39.2％。还介绍了800、1400、1850 mm轧机典型产品的轧制率规范。
