新格律诗派的产生是继宗白华、陆志韦等对初期白话诗极端散文化的散漫倾向的校正之后的一次集中的艺术冲击。他们提出了著名的诗歌应有建筑美、音乐美和绘画美的“三美”主张。这些“格律”是不同于旧诗“格律”的.是一种在继承中国古诗、西洋诗格基础之上,运用现代白话语言的创造而形成的“新格律”,因而他们又被称为“新格律诗派”。虽然随着历史的发展,新格律诗派逐渐为现代派所替代.但是却在许多诗人的创作中留下了深刻的影响。
The emergence of the new school of poetic poetry is a concentrated artistic impact following the correction of the arbitrary tendencies of the early vernacular prose poetry such as Zong Baihua and Lu Zhiwei.
