Machinery Industry Press As of 2010, 8,000 companies worldwide have created a total of 90% of the world gross domestic product (GWP). With 600 cities worldwide contributing up to 50% of GWP, only the top 100 cities have created 38% of GWP. The trend is expected to show that the future economic exchange between such enterprises and cities will be further strengthened.
