本文对１９９５年１月～１９９６年１２月本院产科１４８例过期妊娠和同期内１４８例足月妊娠比较发现，过期妊娠组胎儿过熟综合征的发生率比足月妊娠高，并通过对过期妊娠的监护发现，随胎盘成熟度增高和羊水量减少，胎儿过熟综合征的发生率明显增高，这提示对过期妊娠的诊断与监护具有十分重要的意义。为及时娩出胎儿，减少围产儿死亡率及难产发生率，并对过期妊娠提出了相应的处理意见。
