There is no doubt that everyone may have been or is being invaded by spam. But do not worry, we are not alone. With the advent of software that blocks spam, the legislature has begun to tackle this troubling issue. Last October, the U.S. House of Representatives submitted a bill that allows users to add their names to a national database that rejects unknown e-mail messages. Yet another bill announced the illegality of a similar e-mail. Earlier, several states in the United States have enacted anti-spam laws and Internet service providers have also taken positive steps to combat spammers.
