阳春3月,展现幻灭的美国梦的经典话剧《推销员之死》在纽约百老汇与北京人艺同启幕布。20世纪三四十年代,美国的经济萧条将一名怀抱成功梦想、终生勤力而为的老推销员逼入绝境。时隔60多年,世界再陷经济危机,看清了弱肉强食生存法则的“99%”的美国民众愤而“占领华尔街”;全球化时代的国人则对威利·洛曼一家的悲喜情结有了真切的体会。“推销员”叩门,不仅恰逢其时,且使人反思社会的罪恶推手。当发财致富、功成名就成为世人共认的价值观与成功的标志时,“将人生有价值的东西毁灭给人看”的悲剧便会不断上演。
