土壤中虽含有大量铁,但对作物有效性却往往表现不足。徐淮地区石灰性土壤产生缺铁症状常见有洋槐、水杉、大豆、芝麻、花生,其它作物黄叶病就更为普遍。铁参与植物体氧化还原,是叶绿素、血红蛋白不可缺少的重要成分,与光合作用、NO_3和NO_2的还原和固氮作用密切相关。同时铁是人体必需营养元素,也是人体最易缺乏的一种元素。1986年我们对有机、无机态铁及不同载体对蔬菜营养元素含量的影响进行了研究,以探索提高植株含铁量的途径。
