Thomas Hardy (1840-1928), a stonemason family born in Dorset, southwest England. Young Greek and Latin language acquisition, a deep classical literacy. As a youth, he inherited his father’s mantle and studied architecture in London. After being in love with literature, he changed his novels. His life is versatile and has a wide range of interests. He has published over a dozen of novels, notably Tess of the Durbuys, Jude of the Norse, Return of the Native, Keeping the Wind away from the Crowd, and so on. Hardy is not only famous for his fiction, but also for his poetry. His poetry is full of life.
