董均伦(1917-2004),山东烟台远遥疃人,出身于一个贫苦渔民的家庭。青年时代到北平上过教会学校,学的是英文。1938年,经由香港辗转到了革命圣地延安,进了抗日军政大学学习。在延安,受组织之命,给来解放区的印度援华医疗队国际主义战士柯棣华医生作过翻译,担任过留守兵团英文教师、部队文艺社及陕甘宁边区文协专业创作员。毛泽东曾赠送他一张签名照片,留作纪念,他一直视若珍宝。他还参加了延安文艺座谈会,亲自聆听了毛泽东有关文艺工作的讲话。
Dong Junlun (1917-2004), Yantai, Shandong Province, was born in a poor fisherman’s family. In his youth, he went to church in Peiping to study English. In 1938, after being transferred to Yan’an, a revolutionary shrine via Hong Kong, he studied at the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University. In Yenan, under the command of the organization, Dr. Ke Dihua, a medical doctor in charge of international aid from India’s aid medical team in the Liberated Areas, translated and served as a professional teacher of the Left-behind Corps English teachers, the army literature and art club and the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Wen Jiabao. Mao Zedong had presented him with a signed photo, as a memorial, he always regarded as treasure. He also attended Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium and personally listened to Mao Zedong’s speech on literary and art work.
