油封,是由金属骨架(或金属补强环)、橡胶填料、卡簧组成,见图1(a)。它是以唇口的尖端部位与轴面接触(有一定的接触压力),中间形成楔状油膜,依靠油膜的表面张力,来表达到密封目的。而不是像其它填料依靠与轴大面积接触,来达到密封效果的。油封密封与其它密封相比,有以下优点:1.在唇口受较小扭矩情况下,能够保证长期可靠地密封。2.结构简单、装拆容易、成本低廉、便于设计制造。
Oil seal, is composed of metal frame (or metal reinforcement ring), rubber packing, retainer, shown in Figure 1 (a). It is the tip of the lip with the axial contact with the surface (there is a certain contact pressure), the middle of the formation of wedge-shaped film, relying on the surface tension of the film to express the purpose of the seal.
