本文以强电流刺激内脏大神经传入纤维引起的丘脑后核单位放电为内脏痛的指标,观察电刺激腹后外侧核对内脏痛的影响。本研究看到两种抑制效应:一种为腹后外侧核刺激后20~50毫秒内立即出现的丘脑后核内脏大神经诱发放电的抑制称为即时抑制,另一种为腹后外侧核刺激后几分到几十分钟内发生的长时程的后抑制。提示,腹后外侧核有抑制内脏痛的作用。本实验通过静脉注入印防己毒素拮抗腹后外侧核对丘脑后核的抑制作用,提示此种抑制是突触前抑制。
