随着大型舞剧《丝路花雨》的问世,敦煌流派的研究成果如雨后春笋般蓬勃发展。就敦煌舞蹈的创作来看,继《丝路花雨》之后,大型舞剧《大梦敦煌》《步步生莲》先后问世。虽然敦煌舞蹈对女性形象的发展呈现出了欣欣向荣的景象,但是男子形象的敦煌舞蹈作品却很稀少。根据敦煌彩塑和壁画中的天王形象,结合自身专业实践中总结出的一些想法和经验,笔者翻阅多本参考资料,尝试对敦煌男子舞姿对于天王形象的运用作出试探性分析,也对释道两家天王形象进行分析,和力士金刚形象进行对比。纵观敦煌
