Objective To understand the characteristics of suicidal ideation of undergraduates in imbalanced sex, and provide theoretical reference for the crisis intervention of college students. Methods A total of 1 439 college students who were eligible for the study were randomly selected from the second-year undergraduates of four local colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province to investigate the relationship between unbalanced sex ratio and sex ratio among college students Suicide ideas happen. Results The score and the rate of suicidal ideation of male and female with fewer classes and female and male and less major classes were higher than those with gender balance (P <0.01), while the male and female with less class and female and male with less class and college students There was no significant difference in the scores of suicide ideation and the detection rate (all P> 0.05). The score and the rate of suicidal ideation of male boys and girls were higher than those of gender balance classes (all P <0.01) (P <0.01), and the suicide ideation score and the detection rate of boys in gender balance classes were higher than those in boys and girls (P <0.01) (P <0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the scores of suicide ideation and the detection rate among girls in boys and girls with less boys and girls (P> 0.05) ). There were no significant differences in the scores of suicide ideation and the detection rate between male and female students in the boys and girls who had less classes and gender balance classes (all P> 0.05). In girls with fewer boys and girls, suicide ideation scores And detection rate were higher than boys (P <0.01). Conclusions The imbalanced sex ratio of undergraduates in college students suicidal ideology is more serious than the proportion of sex balanced class college students, and the gender imbalance of the class environment has a different impact on male and female suicidal ideation.
