日本科学技术厅最近发表报告:将沼气燃烧后可用来发电。1981年在北九州市日明下水处理场安置了燃烧沼气的大花型引擎和一台200瓩的发电机,进行了实地试验,观察其发电功率和经济效果。结果表明,这些机械装置连续工作24小时,发电量可达到整个处理场用电的10％左右。如果将发电量提高到68％以上,那么每瓩收的电费可望降到15日元。
Japan Science and Technology Agency recently published a report: the biogas can be used to generate electricity after burning. In 1981, a large-scale engine burning biogas and a 200-瓩 generator were installed at the Riaming Sewage Treatment Plant in Kitakyushu City. Field tests were carried out to see the power generation and economic efficiency. The results show that these mechanical devices work continuously for 24 hours, generating capacity can reach about 10% of the entire processing field electricity. If the amount of electricity raised to more than 68%, then every electricity bill is expected to drop to 15 yen.
