“文”(意译)和“质”(直译)问题贯穿佛经翻译的始终,大致发展过程为:初期的大略主“质”——发展时期的“文质之争”——全盛时期的文质“圆满调和”。本文旨在从翻译批评的社会文化、历史、意识形态及译者的主体性等多重角度去分析“文”“质”观的发展及影响其发展的背后的因素。 The problem of “text” and “quality” (transliteration) runs through the whole process of Buddhist scripture translation.
