During his lifetime, he had left a great deal of textual data on the teaching of erhu, music and the theory of folk music. These materials provided us with a theoretical basis for studying the development track of erhu in the 20th century Detailed basis. One of the most valuable examples of this is the “Strings Comparison Chart”. With careful scientific thinking and clear and concise method, this table clarifies the complex problems of stringing and transfer of national bow stringed instruments in the early 1950s, which provides us with a lesson to explore and sort out many problems in national instrumental music teaching.
