本文对国内外近年来所研究和应用的机床加工过程监控技术进行了简要的评述,指出了用机床上的电机输入功率控制信号在灵敏度和抗电压波动能力方面相比于其他电参数控制信号的优点;介绍了重庆大学研制成功的GKQ型功率监控器;并论述了功率监控技术在提高生产率、能量节约、监控刀具磨损和机床运行故障以及机床技术改造、自动控制和劳动生产管理等方面广泛的应用前景。
