As early as during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, the Okinawa Islands (the islands of the Flow Islands) now Japan belong to the tributary of the Chinese tribes. At that time, officials who inspected the geographical customs in the Qing Dynasty described the local customs and practices very carefully and were surprised to find that there was no table in the room. People are also accustomed to China’s “sitting on the ground” of a thousand years ago. The chair may first appear in the ancient Egyptian and Mediterranean civilizations. We can now see perfectly designed chairs from ancient Egypt, Greece, Roman frescoes and reliefs. And then, as the Europeans developed the new world, they were surprised to find out that in addition to European civilization only Chinese, thousands of years ago, used their chairs as important roles in the living of their homes, even though they were deeply influenced by Chinese traditional culture and Confucianism Japan, North Korea, Vietnam, in the history of Oriental furniture, lack of mature development as China’s chair culture.
