为了加深对高功率脉冲氙灯预电离放电的认识,通过电学特性测量、能量辐射效率测试、高速摄影和辐射光谱测量等手段研究分析了预电离放电对脉冲氙灯辐射特性的影响。实验结果表明:与单独主放电工作的脉冲氙灯相比,选取合适的主–预放电延时可以使脉冲氙灯辐射效率提高3.8%~5.1%;当延时较小时,预电离回路出现电流振荡现象,且与氙灯的最大辐射效率相比,此时辐射效率下降幅度>10%。此外,预电离放电能够改善脉冲氙灯辐射光谱特性,有利于提高辐射光谱与激光工作介质的匹配性,从而提高放大器增益水平。
In order to deepen the understanding of pre-ionization discharge of high-power pulsed xenon lamp, the influence of pre-ionization discharge on the radiation characteristics of pulsed xenon lamp was studied by means of electrical characteristics measurement, energy radiation efficiency test, high-speed photography and radiation spectrum measurement. The experimental results show that the radiation efficiency of pulsed xenon lamp can be improved by 3.8% ~ 5.1% compared with the pulsed xenon lamp with main discharge alone. When the delay is small, the current oscillations appear in the preionization circuit , And xenon lamp and compared to the maximum radiation efficiency, when the radiation efficiency decreased by> 10%. In addition, the preionization discharge can improve the radiation spectral characteristics of the pulsed xenon lamp, which is beneficial to improve the match between the radiation spectrum and the laser working medium, thereby improving the gain level of the amplifier.
