Metaphysical poet John Donne, the originator of love poems and death poetry, has a large number of natural images in his works, and the poets love nature, send thoughts to nature. This article will start from Dorn’s poetry and make use of the ecological perspective to analyze the poet’s concept of harmony based on nature, death and his advocacy of human nature in order to reveal the ecological ideas in Dorn’s poetry.
