一、前言初轧机已有109年的历史,目前全世界约有初轧机400多台。如按年代来划分,1866～1945年的初轧机可称它为第一代初轧机。二次大战后1945～1960年的初轧机应称它为第二代初轧机。六十年代以后,炼钢生产能力迅猛发展,带钢宽度和板卷重量不断增加,为了适应这一新形势的需要,初轧机轧制钢锭重量加大到40吨,甚至70吨。板坯尺寸不断加大,突出地发展了带立辊的万能式板坯初轧机。这种初轧机最大年产量可达600万吨。六十年代以后的初轧机可称为第三
