林分密度直接影响林分平均直径的生长，抚育间伐是林分集约经营活动中的主要措施。作者在调查分析湖南省世行贷款“国家造林项目”中杉木、马尾松幼林生长情况的基础上，提出了杉木、马尾松合理的始找时间和间伐强度，以供参考。
Stand density directly affects the average diameter of stand growth, tending thinning is the main measures in the intensive forest management activities. On the basis of investigating and analyzing the growth of young stands of Chinese fir and masson pine in the “National Afforestation Project” of World Bank Loan in Hunan Province, the author proposed reasonable starting time and thinning intensity of Chinese fir and masson pine for reference.
