新疆东天山卡拉塔格矿集区内发育有红海(—黄土坡)大型VMS型铜锌矿床、红石—梅岭热液脉状铜矿床、玉带斑岩型铜矿床等,其赋矿围岩均为一套多旋回火山—沉积岩系。文章获得侵入该岩系下部岩性段中闪长玢岩SHRIMP锆石U-Pb年龄为(442.6±5.3)Ma和(437.1±3.8)Ma,其精确限定了该岩性段形成时代上限为晚奥陶世,表明这套含矿岩系最早可能形成于奥陶纪。
Large-scale VMS-type Cu-Zn deposits in the Red Sea (- Huangtupo), the Hongshui-Meiling hydrothermal vein-like copper deposit, and the Jade Belt porphyry copper deposits are well developed in the northern Karatag mine in eastern Tianshan, Xinjiang. Surrounding rocks are a set of multi-cycle volcano-sedimentary rocks. The SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of (442.6 ± 5.3) Ma and (437.1 ± 3.8) Ma intruded into the lower lithology of this series of rocks is precisely defined as the upper limit of the age of lithology Ordovician, indicating that this set of ore-bearing rocks may be formed as early as Ordovician.
