炎黄子孙的襟怀在澳大利亚许多城市都有“中国城”。到了异国他乡,总是要先到同胞聚集的地方,于是我们前往悉尼的“中国城”——德信街。一进入这条街我们觉得像是进入我国南方的城市街巷。两侧商店、酒楼、银行几乎所有的店铺上都有中国字,进得店去许多人讲汉语,看了商品绝大部分是中国货。我们匆匆吃了碗牛腩面,便在街巷随便走走。这时我被一个大红牌坊吸引住了,走过去,见当地的中国文人书家撰写的对联一行行烫金行楷大字十分耀眼。街巷这一端的牌坊上有两副对联,第一副的上联是:“继往上国衣冠,维护自由主义”;下联是:“开来大同世
Many people in Australia have ”China Town“. To a foreign country, always have to come to the place where compatriots gathered, so we went to Sydney ”Chinatown “ - Dickson Street.
