左旋咪唑(Levamisole,简称LMS)为一种低毒性的广谱抗线虫药。1966年国外作为驱虫剂应用于临床。1971年Reno-ux 偶然发现LMS 在动物体内有激发免疫力,增强抗感染的作用。1972年以来,试用于配合治疗人类癌肿、细菌和病毒的慢性感染及一些免疫缺陷病,虽然报导的病例尚不算多,但已显示了一些可喜的苗头。1973年我国自己制成了LMS,并用于钩虫病防治科研工作。以后国外对该药的免疫作用进行了研究,对其作用机理亦开始进行探讨。本文仅就LMS 对小鼠腹腔巨噬细胞吞噬功能的影响进行了实验研究,将观察的初步结果介绍如下:
Levamisole (LMS) is a low toxicity broad-spectrum nematode drug. In 1966, it was applied abroad as an insect repellent. In 1971, Reno-ux accidentally discovered that LMS stimulated immunity in animals and enhanced anti-infection. Since 1972, it has been used in conjunction with chronic infections and some immunodeficiency diseases for the treatment of human cancers, bacteria and viruses. Although the number of reported cases is not large, some promising signs have been shown. In 1973, China made its own LMS, and used for research and prevention of hookworm disease. Afterwards, the immune effect of this drug was studied abroad, and the mechanism of its action was also discussed. This article only carried out an experimental study on the effect of LMS on the phagocytosis of mouse peritoneal macrophages. The preliminary results of the observation are described as follows:
