岐山县博物馆馆藏古货币述略庞文龙建国以来，岐山县博物馆收藏的古代货币绝大部分出自窖藏和墓葬，少量的拣自废品收购站。时代上起西周，下迄民国。品种包括贝币、铲币、刀币、方孔圆钱、铜元以及铜质钱范等。现按其时代先后择要记述如下：１．西周贝币。１９８８－１９９０年间，岐山县凤鸣镇谢家堡村北三次出土贝币共５２枚，均出自西周墓葬中（同出有装饰品蛤蜊壳等物）。贝市都是白色，通长１．５－３，中宽１－２厘米。背部隆起，一端磨平，有穿孔，腹部有一齿槽，与背穿相通。２．秦半两钱。１９７９年１１月，京当乡礼村出土一批窖藏秦半两钱，由发现人售给京当乡收购站。岐山县博物馆闻知后，随即付价全部收存。共２０．５公斤，约计２５６０余枚。这批铜钱都是方孔圆形，均无内外廓，周边不甚规整，有流铜现象。平幕。钱文＂半两＂二字，凸起高挺，篆法古朴。＂半＂字上横方折，其下横与＂两＂字上横均较短，笔划粗细不匀，各钱大小轻重不一，钱径３－３．５，穿径０．８－０．９厘米。枚重８克左右（图一１）。这批铜钱出土时，装在一个素面灰陶罐内。罐外底部有篆书＂美亭＂戳记一方，当为陶罐产地的标志。美亭是秦美阳县下属的一个行政区域单位，据考，其地在距今礼村不远的法门寺一带。
