《非洲黑奴自传——奥拉达·艾奎亚诺(又名古斯塔夫斯·瓦萨)生平趣事录:由本人创作》是美国第一部由黑人奴隶作家本人撰写的自传。它讲述了作家曾经的奴隶生涯,重点呈现了他从“黑”到“白”的身份认同转变历程。本文以主人公黑白双重属性为切入点,从语言和宗教两个层面来揭示白人视角下的黑奴生活,并且探究作家身份复杂性的深层原因。
“Autobiography of African slaves - Ola da Iquiano (also known as Gustavus Vasa) Fun stories: created by myself” is the first American autobiography written by black slave writers. It tells the story of a writer who used to be a slave and focuses on the process of changing his identity from “black ” to “white ”. This article takes the black and white double attributes of the protagonist as the breakthrough point, reveals the black slaves life from the perspective of white people from two aspects of language and religion, and explores the deep reason of the identity complexity of writers.
