宁夏明瑞农村新能源服务专业合作社地处银川市兴庆区掌政镇,为宁夏黄河沿岸经济发展区,交通便利,农村经济发展相对较好,农村生活用能以煤炭、电和液化气为主。但是,近年来随着常规能源的不断涨价,部分农户无力购买煤炭,生活用能紧缺。在国家政策的支持下,农村沼气建设迅速发展,截至2010年兴庆区已建设户用沼气池24万多口,大型沼气工程近100处。
