高速反坦克导弹,又称高速动能导弹,是一种直接瞄准式反坦克导弹(LINE- OF-SIGHT ANTITANK,简称LOSAT)。该弹是世界上第一种通过动能弹芯穿甲的导弹, 于1990年代由美国LTV(洛拉尔·沃特系统)公司、洛克希德·马丁公司等单位联合研制,1990年代后期实施技术验证试验和陆军评估试验,21世纪初进入实用化阶段,计划于2006-2010年总共生产170套。但美国国会于2004年8月1日签署的《美国2005财年国防拨款法案》中,停止LOSAT计划。尽管如此,美国陆军鉴于LOSAT多次试验成功仍计划进一步进行评估,还计划开发LOSAT防空型。美空军也制定了将LOSAT作为对地攻击武器安装于在下一代通用战斗机上的计划。
High-speed anti-tank missile, also known as high-speed kinetic energy missiles, is a direct-attack anti-tank missiles (LINE-OF-SIGHT ANTITANK, referred to as LOSAT). The missile was the first missile in the world to penetrate through a kinetic energy core and was jointly developed by the United States LTV (Lola Waters) Company and Lockheed Martin Corporation in the 1990s and implemented in the late 1990s Verification tests and Army assessment tests will begin in the early 2000s in a practical phase and a total of 170 units are planned for 2006-2010. However, the U.S. Congress stopped the LOSAT plan in the U.S. Defense Fiscal 2005 Fiscal Year 2005 bill signed on August 1, 2004. However, the United States Army plans to further evaluate the success of LOSAT’s many tests and plans to develop LOSAT air defense. The U.S. Air Force also has plans to install LOSAT as a ground attack weapon on its next generation of general purpose fighter jets.
