采用真空高频磁悬浮炉制备出一系列Gd3-xCuxAl2(x=0,0.1,0.2,0.3)合金。通过Cu对Gd的部分替代,研究了Cu元素微量替代对Gd3Al2合金磁热效应的影响。结果表明,Gd3-xCuxAl2系合金的结构同样为Zr3Al2型;在1.5 T磁场下,随着Cu含量的增加,Gd3-xCuxAl2系合金的最大绝热温变下降,居里温度提高。说明Cu对Gd的部分替代改变了Gd3Al2合金磁热效应。
A series of Gd3-xCuxAl2 (x = 0,0.1,0.2,0.3) alloys were prepared by vacuum high-frequency magnesia furnace. By the partial substitution of Cu for Gd, the effect of trace Cu substitution on the magnetocaloric effect of Gd3Al2 alloy was studied. The results show that the structure of Gd3-xCuxAl2 alloy is also Zr3Al2. Under 1.5 T magnetic field, the maximum adiabatic temperature of Gd3-xCuxAl2 alloy decreases with the increase of Cu content, and the Curie temperature increases. It shows that the partial substitution of Cu for Gd changes the magnetocaloric effect of Gd3Al2 alloy.
