经过近十年的技术演进,FMC技术日趋成熟,而且经过欧洲数个运营商的实践,FMC在技术上基本不存在瓶颈,市场空间巨大。据Ovum公司统计,目前约三分之一的移动话务量是在室内发生的,固网运营商以及全业务运营商亟须将这部分业务留在固网当中,由此构成了FMC的基本业务需求。纵观全球市场,FMC业务的发展经历了探索期、起步期、发展期3个阶段(见下图)。20世纪90年代~2004年为探索期,该阶段的主要工作是业务摸索和技术探索;2004年~2008年为起步期,在该阶段,移动业务对固网业务的分流越来越明显,传统固网运营商面临很大的压力,被迫积极尝试FMC业务;2008年以后为发展期,此阶段,FMC技术已经成熟,市场需求比较明晰,发展路线趋于明朗化,大多数运营商积极介入。
After nearly ten years of technological evolution, FMC technology is maturing, and after several European operators practice, FMC basically does not exist in the technical bottleneck, the market is huge. According to Ovum, about one-third of mobile traffic is currently occurring indoors, and fixed-line operators and full-service operators are in urgent need of leaving this part of the fixed network, thus constituting the basic FMC Business needs. Throughout the global market, the FMC business has undergone three stages of exploration, start-up and development (see below). From the 1990s to 2004, the main work of this stage was business exploration and technology exploration. From 2004 to 2008, it was a starting period. At this stage, the diversion of mobile services to fixed-line services became more and more obvious. The traditional Fixed-line operators are under great pressure and are forced to actively try FMC business. After 2008, the FMC technology has matured, the market demand has become clearer and the development route has become clearer. Most operators are actively involved .
