In 2014,100 years since the outbreak of World War I,and 120 years since the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War,intational observers were hyping the Ukraine crisis and China-Japan tensions,claiming history was repeating itself.These views reflected their concs.After all,the defining feature of the year was chaos that threatened world order.rnThe year 2015 will also be a memorable year.It marks the 70th anniversary of both the end of World War Ⅱ and the establishment of the United Nations.It may t out to be an opportunity for nations to bring calm to world affairs and reshape the global order,or it may t out to be the year when tensions explode.In other words,we are either facing a storm or a break in the clouds.
