Chinese Premier Li Keqiang chairs a roundtable on the Sustainable Development Goals （SDGs） at UN headquarters in New York City on September 19.
At the event， Li released China’s national plan for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development， which details China’s guiding principles and measures for accomplishing the SDGs and the challenges and opportunities therein.
The agenda， endorsed at the UN Summit for Sustainable Development last year， seeks to balance the three dimensions of development： economic， social and environmental. Implementation of the agenda is a top priority for the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly， which began on September 13.
