China currently consumes the most three major areas of semiconductor chips are communications, consumer electronics and computer products. The consumption of semiconductor chips in these areas in 2004 will be 10.5 billion U.S. dollars, 7.7 billion U.S. dollars and 11.7 billion U.S. dollars respectively.
