我公司于1974年开展金矿勘探工作.矿区的阶地与河谷多含砂砾石,结构松散,砾石直径大达400毫米,且含金层大部分在含水层以下,给勘探工作带来很大困难.1975年曾试用班加钻进行勘探,但效率低,混层严重,劳动强度大,遇到大于取样管的砾石就无法钻进;采用井探,如含金层在含水层以上,一般能达到地质取样要求,可是当遇到含水层,因排水困难,至使多数探井中途被迫停工.后又调来651型砂钻
