近几年来,石河子地区瓜类枯萎病日益猖獗,特别是在塑料大棚黄瓜生产中,由于受土地面积和其它条件的限制经常重茬,造成枯萎病的连年发生和蔓延,使产量逐年下降。为了解决这一问题,寻求一种有效的防治措施,我们认真研究了国内外保护地瓜类栽培的经验,其中嫁接是提高瓜类抗病性获得高产优质产品的有效途径。目前在技术发达的国家,已普遍应用于蔬菜的保护地生产,国内不少地区也在黄瓜、西瓜生产中逐步推广。但在我区应用甚少,缺乏经验。为此,结合我区自然气候特点,1979年5月在石河子独立团试验站,我们进行了瓜类小苗嫁接试验,取得了初步成果,据不完全统计,雌花数比对照提高66%,产量比对照增加48.5%。
